With extensive experience in balcony glazing and sun protection, Mellabell provides made-to-measure pleated blinds for balcony glazing systems and interior windows.

We work with both standard solutions and more complex projects, always striving to provide a solution tailored to each customer’s individual needs and requirements.

Our pleated blinds combine elegant design, lightweight construction and excellent functionality. They are easy to use, require minimal maintenance and are individually manufactured according to the measurements and requirements of each project.

By combining modern manufacturing techniques, precision and genuine craftsmanship, we create high-quality pleated blinds with an excellent fit.

Mellabell has several years of experience in the servicing, repair and maintenance of various balcony glazing systems.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Payment

Invoices are sent to the customer by email or post following delivery or installation, unless otherwise agreed.

Private customers: Net 10 days.
Business customers: Net 30 days.

Orders

Orders from private customers may only be placed by persons aged 18 or over.

Once an order has been completed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the customer.

As our pleated blinds are manufactured according to each customer’s individual measurements, it is important to carefully check all information in the order confirmation.

If you wish to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes can only be made if production has not yet started.

Delivery

Our aim is to deliver your order as quickly as possible. The standard delivery time is approximately 5 weeks, unless otherwise stated at the time of ordering.

Delivery times may vary depending on the product, choice of materials, order volume and other circumstances.

Prices

All prices quoted to private customers are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) including VAT, unless clearly stated otherwise.

Prices may vary depending on factors such as product dimensions, materials, fabric, model and selected features.

Warranty

Mellabell provides a 36-month warranty on our pleated blinds, starting from the date of purchase.

Please retain your invoice or order confirmation, as this serves as proof of purchase when making a warranty claim.

The warranty covers faults included under our warranty terms, such as applicable material and manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not normally cover damage caused by:

• Incorrect or careless use

• External damage or accidents

• Normal wear and tear

• Insufficient care or maintenance

• Dirt, insects or other external factors

• Alterations or modifications not carried out or approved by Mellabell

The warranty does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.

Complaints and Defective Products

If you discover a fault with your product, please contact Mellabell as soon as possible after discovering the issue.

Please describe the problem and, where possible, include photographs or other documentation clearly showing the fault. Please also provide your order or invoice number so that we can process your case more efficiently.

If the product is determined to be defective, the complaint will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.

Please note that a warranty and statutory rights relating to defective products are separate matters. A warranty does not limit any rights that a consumer has under applicable law.

Right of Withdrawal and Made-to-Measure Products

Mellabell’s pleated blinds are manufactured according to the customer’s individual measurements and specifications.

For products manufactured according to the customer’s instructions or that have otherwise been clearly personalised, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply.

This means that a made-to-measure product generally cannot be returned simply because the customer has changed their mind where the legal exemption from the right of withdrawal applies.

This does not affect the customer’s right to make a claim regarding a defective product in accordance with applicable legislation.
